Resale & Commercial Use Policy

This Resale & Commercial Use Policy forms part of the Terms of Service of Hei Art Gallery – WALLPRINT (“Hei Art Gallery”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By purchasing or accessing any artwork, print, product, image, or digital content from Hei Art Gallery, you agree to the restrictions set out in this Policy.

1. Personal Use Only

All purchases made through our website are strictly for personal, non-commercial use.
You may display the physical product you have purchased in your home, office, or similar personal environment.
No commercial rights are granted.

2. No Commercial Resale Without Written Permission

You may not:

  • resell our artworks or prints as part of a commercial shop, gallery, market stall, or online store;
  • list or offer our artworks as stock inventory;
  • sell new prints, reproductions, or items incorporating our images;
  • advertise or market any product using our artworks, images, branding, name, or signature.

Any commercial resale, wholesale distribution, or professional staging use must be covered by a signed written agreement with Hei Art Gallery.

3. Prohibition on Reproduction, Copies, and Derivative Works

You are strictly prohibited from:

  • reproducing, copying, scanning, downloading, reprinting, or photographing the artwork,
  • ordering unauthorised prints through third-party print providers,
  • creating digital versions, NFTs, AI derivatives, or modified works,
  • altering or cropping the artwork for commercial use,
  • using any of our images in advertising, editorial content, or product creation.

All intellectual property rights remain the exclusive property of Hei Art Gallery and/or the relevant artist.

4. Use of Images, Branding, and Product Photography

You may not use or republish:

  • product photographs,
  • mock-ups,
  • gallery images,
  • descriptions,
  • branded graphics,
  • logos or signature marks

for any commercial or promotional purpose.

You also may not imply partnership, endorsement, affiliation, or authorised representation unless we have approved this in writing.

5. Second-Hand (Physical) Resale

You may resell only the single physical print you personally purchased (“second-hand resale”), provided that:

  • you do not offer multiple sizes or versions,
  • you do not present the item as part of a commercial catalogue or business activity,
  • you do not use our product images, mock-ups, or descriptions,
  • you clearly state the item is a resale of your used print.

This exception is provided solely to comply with applicable law.

6. Reporting Unauthorised Use

If you believe our artworks or images are being used, reproduced, or sold without permission, please contact us:

7. Enforcement

Hei Art Gallery actively enforces its copyright and commercial rights.
Unauthorised commercial resale, copying, distribution, or misuse of our artworks or brand may result in:

  • DMCA and UK copyright takedown requests,
  • removal of listings from hosting platforms,
  • cancellation of orders,
  • account termination,
  • legal action seeking damages and costs.
